Having drastically increased our European footprint in a short period with now +70 locations across 10 European countries. We now making an important investment to support the implementation of global best practices into our European region, by adding a Treasury Analyst to our team.

The role
You will work closely under the supportive leadership of two experienced treasury colleagues to help monitor and report; and prepare and present analysis related to various treasury topics. You will help us to create document trails, and support treasury specific SOX controls compliance.

You will also work with a collection of international colleagues and stakeholders (including from the US, UK, Netherlands, Spain) as we look to develop global treasury practices in the European region.

This role is part of a virtual team, which is based mostly across our sites in Rotterdam and Bergen op Zoom. However, this is a hybrid role in which you will have flexibility to work from home.

Tasks include (but not restricted to):

• Monitors and reports on liquidity, investment and borrowing

• Cooperates with (international) Lineage businesses on treasury topics

• Works together closely with Tax/Legal/Accounting and the US Treasury team on operational tasks and cross-departmental projects

• Prepares and provides in-depth analysis related to cash, cash flow, accounts receivable credit and collections, working capital, debt, interest, foreign currency, etc.

• Manages the document trail related to bank account opening, compliance and reporting, KYC, AML, and manages the bank account administration for our banking group

• Ensures compliance with SOX controls specific to Treasury

• Becomes key user of our TMS (Kyriba) and supports further process developments

• Supports the daily operation of our European core cash-management structure including the Inhouse-Bank and physical and notional pooling structures

• Assists with the integration of newly acquired businesses onto the Lineage platform

• Supports the implementation of and monitors compliance with global treasury policies

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree

• 0-3 years of experience in Finance/Treasury

• Strong analytical (quantitative as well as qualitative) skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

• Well organised, detail oriented, flexible, comfortable working in a highly dynamic and demanding environment

• Knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

Nice to have:

• Affinity with Kyriba, Power-BI, Workday

• Dutch/Spanish/Italian language skills
