Manage the warehouse’s operational activities including budgeting, labor scheduling, space and equipment, safety and security, housekeeping, and sanitation. Ensure people, process and technology enable meeting all customer service standards.


  • Team Leadership: Manage, train, and provide performance feedback to direct reports, ensuring productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Operational Excellence: Continuously improve procedures for verifying shipments, handling merchandise, and maintaining inventory.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, inventory control, and operations support to ensure product availability.
  • Strategic Planning: Forecast long-range labor needs based on sales predictions and management input.
  • KPI Achievement: Facilitate the achievement of company KPIs related to cost, productivity, customer service, profits, and team performance.
  • Safety Compliance: Operate the facility in strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, fostering a culture of safety among team members.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze operational reports to identify trends and recommend solutions to management.
  • Interdepartmental Partnerships: Build and maintain strong partnerships with departments such as Finance, HR, Sales, and Continuous Improvement.


  • Equipment Operation: Operate machinery and material handling equipment.


  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in warehouse operations or direct warehouse management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated management skills with a focus on team development, customer service, communication, and planning.
  • Presentation Skills: Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and employees.
  • Physical Requirements: Capable of working in temperatures ranging from -20°F/-25°C in cold storage to 100°F/37°C in dry storage while wearing company-provided PPE. Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends if needed.
  • Noise Tolerance: Comfortable working in environments with varying noise levels, sometimes loud
