Our Lineage Foodservice Solutions team is growing! Are you ready to make an impact at the world's largest and most dynamic temperature-controlled logistics company? We are looking for a Transportation Supervisor for the Conklin, NY location.

Manage the day-to-day transportation operations activity at the assigned facility in partnership with operations. Lead and develop a team of transportation professionals.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage daily transportation operations at designated location
• Manage, recruit, train, provide performance feedback and assign duties of direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with warehouse leads and carriers to efficiently meet customer needs
• Assess client matters and provide recommendations to solve issues regarding performance, billing, or delivery problems
• Support the development of business policies, daily shipping schedules, and carrier service reviews
• Gather and analyze relevant data and information in preparation for reports

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• 2 years’ transportation or dispatch coordination environment experience or relevant certification
• Knowledge of shipping and transportation operations and familiarity with import and export processes
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task various and conflicting responsibilities
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to deal with ambiguity
• High School diploma or GED

Salary Range: $53200 - $66500 - $89775

Pay Range:$53,200.00 - $89,775.00
