Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the warehouse team and manage the operations of the designated facility to ensure seamless functionality and efficiency.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise, train, and provide performance feedback to direct reports.

• Assign duties to ensure optimal productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness within the team.

• Oversee and manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including the receipt and dispatch of shipments, the organization of merchandise, and the maintenance of inventory.

• Develop and implement production schedules and allocate resources to ensure timely completion of job assignments.

• Maintain accurate time and production records to support operational efficiency.

• Monitor and report on warehouse activities, including sales, inventory control, and purchasing, to ensure product availability and operational readiness.

• Prepare and submit detailed operational reports to designated plant personnel.

• Work closely with machinery and material handling equipment to support smooth warehouse operations.

• Maintain open and effective communication with all levels of the organization to resolve employee issues and facilitate operational harmony.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• At least 2 years of leadership experience in warehouse or logistics management.

• Proven experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

• Strong conflict management skills to effectively address and resolve employee issues.

• Ability to operate efficiently in extreme temperature conditions, ranging from -20°F (-25°C) in cold storage to 100°F (37°C) in dry storage, with appropriate personal protective equipment provided.

• Physical capability to lift at least 40 lbs, with additional capacity as required by the facility.

• Availability to work flexible schedules and shifts, including weekends, as operational needs dictate.

• Comfort working in environments with varying noise levels, which can occasionally be loud.
