Senior Compliance Practitioner
Perishable Shipping Solutions
Pay Range: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Note: Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required for audits or accident investigations.
Key Responsibilities
Train new Compliance Practitioners and provide ongoing guidance and support
Collaborate with Operations to resolve facility and customer-related issues
Conduct thorough accident investigations and ensure safety policies are clearly communicated and followed
Lead meetings to communicate updates to safety policies and procedures, and address any quality or safety concerns
Monitor safety supply inventory and coordinate with Operations for replenishment needs
Maintain accurate and organized records, including safety logs, binders, and compliance documentation
Additional Responsibilities
Attend training sessions and events as directed by the Operations team
Facilitate safety orientations for new hires as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a safety compliance or related role
Food safety experience preferred (PCQI training a plus)
Strong public speaking and presentation skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Solid understanding of workplace safety regulations and reporting standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in temperature-controlled environments, ranging from -20°F (cold storage) to 100°F (dry storage), with proper PPE provided
Comfortable working in environments with varying noise levels
