Inventory Control Technician - 2nd Shift

Monday through Friday

1:30pm - 10pm

Compile and maintain records of physical and virtual product inventories via daily activities of cycle counting, claims management and accounts administration within the facility. Manage data concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping products for/from the facility. Order shipping materials supplies and equipment to maintain inventory throughout the facility.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records related to inventory, purchasing, shipping, and other warehouse operations.

  • Compile and analyze data from purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and accounting reports.

  • Monitor inventory levels and assess the need for stock replenishment.

  • Investigate and resolve issues related to product damage, inventory discrepancies, and shrinkage.

  • Locate products to verify item identification; perform regular cycle counts and support full physical inventory audits.

  • Cross-check stock numbers, pallet IDs, authorized substitutes, and other product details using catalogs, manuals, and product lists to ensure shipping accuracy.

  • Review inventory files to identify unused or obsolete items and recommend disposal of excess or damaged stock.

  • Operate warehouse material handling equipment, including turret trucks, in accordance with company safety policies and regulatory standards.

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management or a related warehouse role.

  • Proven experience operating a turret truck.

  • Forklift Experience is a plus.

  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English.

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Ability to work in environments ranging from -20°F (-25°C) in cold storage to 100°F (37°C) in dry storage, while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment.

  • Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs.; weight requirements may vary by facility.
