As a Residential Energy Efficiency Technician, you are critical in our mission to both help the environment and save our customers money on their energy bills. You will perform a variety of activities to weatherize homes and make them more energy efficient. This includes using blower doors, duct blasters, pressure pans, various ladders, combustion safety equipment, various hand tool and power tools to install insulation, energy conservation devices, duct sealing, caulking, air sealing, lighting, thermostats, CO detectors, and weather stripping, and make minor repairs to homes. Essential Job Functions

• Speak with potential customers about PosiGen’s clean energy solutions
• Follow up on leads from the inside sales team and drive the creation of new leads to meet sales goals through canvassing, participating in community events, generating referrals, and more
• Helps the homeowner to execute documents and provide the necessary information to go solar
• Assists with qualifying homeowners for additional incentives and obtaining the necessary paperwork for incentive attainment
• Provides a high level of customer service throughout the customer’s lifecycle
• Mentors and trains newer team members, contributing knowledge and enthusiasm to the office team

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience in residential construction and/or maintenance industry
• Proficient with computers, phones, and other office equipment
• Ability to work at heights, on ladders, in tight spaces such as attics and basements
• BPI certification is a plus
