*This position will be on-site at our Saint Rose office*

Essential Job Functions

• Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
• Process AP queue through the SaaS PM tool
• Ensure general ledger coding is correct
• Prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms
• Respond to all vendor inquiries
• Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies
• Assist in month end closing
• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
• Assist with other projects as needed

• Must have strong work ethics
• Must be well organized and a self-starter be able to follow standard filing procedures
• Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division quickly and accurately
• Extremely efficient, organized and resourceful
• Must be flexible and able to function well in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and attention to detail
• Able to work independently and prioritize workload

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
• Proficiency with Google Workspace preferred
• Proficiency in ERP solutions, to include intacct or equivalent experience
