Tasks The CTO roleWe are looking for a world-class CTO to lead the development of our platform, the TERRA platform. They will sit on the Exec Team, build out and lead our team of platform engineers, and be responsible for our overall architecture, tech stack, and platform delivery. This is a critical leadership role in Revalue and an opportunity for someone who wants to build something exceptional.The CTO is responsible to our CEO. This is a fully remote role and is strongly preferred to be based in London or Indonesia, but other locations can also be considered. What are the main responsibilities of the role? The Role Will Include But Not Be Limited To

• Lead the development of our platform, the TERRA platform
• Lead our development team including platform engineers, product manager, data visualisation lead and more
• Responsible for our overall architecture, tech stack and platform delivery
• Operate as an integral member of the Executive Committee
• Lead, own and execute key development work streams
• Communicate our technological strategy to partners and stakeholders

Requirements What do we expect from you?For our CTO candidates, we are looking for a technical leader who has a deep understanding of software development, cloud computing, data analytics and cybersecurity.You have spent time building and scaling software at tech-focused companies, where you are seen as the go-to technical leader by your peers. You enjoy building and delivering best-in-class software that solves important problems.

• Demonstrated technical leadership experience
• Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy

• Preference for a holder of a BS in CS or other related field
• Demonstrated results in effective delivery and day-to-day excellence
• Evidence that you can work in remote teams, are a self-driver with a willingness to take initiative and are committed to continuous improvement and consistent high performance within a complex and fast-growing sector
• Excellent communication skills
• Resilience, and the ability to make difficult things happen
• Outstanding problem-solving skills and detail orientation
• Willingness to join an international, remote working team, travelling to various international settings as needed
• A proven ability to work effectively in diverse cultural settings
• An understanding of nature-based solutions is desirable but not a must
