TasksRevalue Nature is building a portfolio of large-scale, high-integrity, high-impact nature-based carbon projects in Latin America. We do this through forming partnerships with on-the-ground project operators, to whom we bring finance, technical services, and the marketing and sales of resulting credits.The LATAM Lead is responsible to our Chief Portfolio Officer. This role would be ideally based in Latin America, but other locations may also be considered. What are the main responsibilities of the role? Partnerships

• Identifying high-potential partners in priority countries
• Assessing the values, ambition, capacity and capabilities of those partners to deliver carbon projects at scale
• Actively building and managing relationships with our selected partners
• Developing our strategies with partners to replicate, scale, innovate, diversify and transition projects to jurisdictional systems

Projects

• Evaluating state and national policies relating to carbon and/or nature-based solution project development
• Project managing the assessment and end-to-end development of project opportunities
• Quality control of assessment and development work
• Anticipating, identifying, and effectively managing risks and challenges

Team Management

• Build, develop and lead Revalue’s LatAm team
• Regularly report to Revalue’s C-level on portfolio progress and KPIs
• Coordinate closely with Revalue’s teams to garner the necessary inputs for project design and implementation

Requirements What do we expect from you?

• 7-10 years of experience working with the public, private and civil sectors to deliver nature-based solutions
• Required: Working proficiency level/fluency in Portuguese, Spanish
• A strong understanding of what it takes to deliver a high-integrity carbon project
• Diverse regional (LatAm scale) network in REDD+ and conservation space, including national and local governments, commercial and civil stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to build and maintain long-term professional partnerships
• Proven ability to conduct thorough research and due diligence
• The ability to apply research findings to design thinking and decision making
• Outstanding problem-solving, project management and project delivery skills
• Synthesis and analysis of large volumes of qualitative and quantitative information for executive audiences
• Proven ability to lead multicultural teams and work effectively in diverse cultural settings
• Ability to travel regionally and globally
• Willingness to join an international, remote working team and work flexibly
• Love of nature, a strong affinity with conservation and restoration of natural systems

• Resilience, and the ability to make difficult things happen
