Revalue supercharges the world's leading nature-based carbon projects developers. We provide them with the required technical support and competitive financing to go from the initial rapid assessment of potential project areas, to the first carbon credits issuance, and beyond. This is underpinned by our proprietary tech, which creates a step-change in accuracy, speed, automation, and level of insights.

Tasks
The Investment Analyst is accountable to our Investment Manager and is part of our Commercial Team. This team ensures that our projects are designed to be economically viable and resilient for the long term. It is also in charge of securing the most competitive financing for project development, and marketing our resulting carbon credits to achieve fair, attractive prices for our projects.
This role is fully remote, the candidate needs to work in the range of GMT+/-2 time zone.

What are the main responsibilities of the role?
The Investment Analyst will work alongside the Commercial Team. The role will include but not be limited to:
- Evaluate the economic viability of projects through complex financial modelling
- Conduct carbon market research and derive recommendations for our team
- Assist commercial negotiations with carbon developers and financing providers (investors)
- Support new processes definition and implement them with limited supervision
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage projects and multiple work streams with competing priorities
What do we expect from you?
- At least 2 years experience in an investment related role (such as private equity, investment banking, management consulting, or others)
- Excellent financial analysis and modelling skills is a must
- Experience in assisting commercial and investment transactions is highly valuable
- Clear, direct and structured communicator (written and oral)
- Ability to run process independently, with limited supervision
- Committed to continuous improvement and consistent high-performance
- Willingness to join an international, remote working team, traveling to various international settings as needed
- A love of nature; a strong affinity with conservation and restoration of natural systems
