Carbon Project Analyst

About Us

At Revalue, we’re redesigning what carbon credits can be — from how they’re measured and verified to how they drive real-world regeneration. We use science, technology, and deep field partnerships to build radically better carbon credit through nature-based projects that avoid, remove, and store carbon with integrity.

Our mission: to design the most cutting-edge and trusted carbon credits for our planet.

About the role

As a Carbon Project Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of this mission — helping us identify, analyse, and scale the next generation of high-impact carbon projects. You’ll bridge science, finance, and field realities: turning complex technical information into clear insights that help us make smart, confident decisions about which projects to advance.

You’re naturally curious, detail-oriented, and driven by impact. You thrive in ambiguity, ask sharp questions, and know how to balance rigour with forward momentum. Whether you’re diving into a project’s baseline model, stress-testing cashflows, or coordinating with technical teams to hit certification milestones, you love connecting the dots between data, integrity, and climate outcomes.

What You'll Do

The Assessment Team is a strategic hub that helps shape Revalue's future. As a member of the team, you will be at the forefront of evaluating innovative projects, using a collaborative, iterative approach that brings together our technical experts and external partners. Assessment Team work is about maintaining a 360-degree perspective on each project opportunity, synthesising diverse insights, and understanding how projects create real value for stakeholders. You'll be the bridge between teams, ensuring every project is evaluated with rigour, creativity, and strategic insight.

Assess and Advise
  • Critically evaluate carbon projects to help build Revalue’s pipeline of high-quality, high-potential nature-based projects.
  • Conduct analytical reviews across technical, environmental, social, and financial dimensions — identifying red flags, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Model and Analyze

  • Build and refine detailed financial models projecting project cashflows, including carbon credit revenues, operational costs, and community benefits.
  • Apply core project finance concepts (NPV, IRR, discount rates, risk scenarios) to evaluate commercial viability and resilience.
Manage and Coordinate
  • Support projects from origination through certification with leading carbon standards (VCS, Isometric, Gold Standard, etc.).
  • Coordinate across Revalue’s science, geospatial, and product teams — as well as with external partners — to keep projects on track.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring quality and consistency at every step.
  • Foster collaborative, strategic relationships with partners that drive mutual interests and impact
Synthesize and Communicate
  • Distil complex technical information into clear, actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide concise, structured recommendations that support investment and partnership decisions.

What You Bring

  • Strong quantitative and financial modelling skills; advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets required.
  • Understanding of project finance fundamentals (NPV, IRR, discount rates, risk analysis).
  • Professional experience in carbon markets, project finance, impact investing, or environmental consulting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional working proficiency in Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Experience working directly with nature-based solutions (forestry, agroforestry, restoration, sustainable agriculture) strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with carbon methodologies and standards (VCS, Isometric, Gold Standard, or similar) preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Economics, Finance, Forestry, or related field preferred.

What We Offer

  • Shared purpose, culture and values
  • A diverse team of colleagues, partners and clients based all around the world
  • Meaningful equity in an early-stage startup with a growing and trusted brand
  • The opportunity to shape the future of nature-based climate finance
  • Flexible working environment with a team deeply committed to impact
  • Generously enhanced, gender-neutral parental leave policy
  • Wellbeing support, including company-funded access to therapy

🌱 If you’re ready to bring analytical rigour and purpose to the frontier of climate solutions — we’d love to meet you.
