Why ShipMonk?

ShipMonk is the world's largest 3PL for high-growth e-commerce and DTC brands. Since our inception in 2014, we've operated with a singular guiding principle: to help small and medium-sized e-commerce businesses scale by offering technology-driven fulfillment solutions that enable business founders to devote more time to the things that matter most in their businesses. Put simply, ShipMonk helps e-commerce companies stress less and grow more. Headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, FL, ShipMonk has more than 2,500 employees across facilities in Fort Lauderdale, FL, Pittston, PA, Los Angeles, CA, Bay Shore, NY, Las Vegas, NV, Louisville, KY, Fort Worth, TX, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, Tecate, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and Prague, Czech Republic.

ShipMonk is a leading partner for eCommerce businesses, providing end-to-end logistics & fulfillment solutions across diverse industries and merchants. Our Marketing team is expanding for 2024, and we’re seeking a Product Marketing Manager with experience driving the product vision and messaging to join us in delivering our promise to merchants: Stress Less, Grow More.

This role will report to the Sr. Director of Marketing and intensively collaborate between the Product, Sales, Development, Support, and Marketing teams at ShipMonk. Whether it’s a product roadmap, persona development, or activating go-to-market campaigns, you’ll work at the heart of the organization’s product offering and focus our efforts to win new business with our world-class fulfillment platform.

What you'll do:

  • Manage Go-to-Market. Coordinate product release communications and define the go-to-market strategy both internally and externally to ensure a cohesive message (ads, web pages, support documentation, account tutorials, notifications, emails, etc.).
  • Uphold Data Rigor. Establish key metrics for each product marketing campaign and track performance against goals to inform decision making & measure success.
  • Revenue Enablement. Ensure successful, collaborative, and on-time execution of adoption plans through demos, decks, comparisons, etc. that exhibits the power of our products.
  • Voice of the Customer. You’re enamored by our merchant base and motivated by their success. You’re able to dig in the weeds to unearth insights into the needs and market opportunities to help influence product strategy and messaging.
  • Competitive Research. Examine the market landscape to evaluate how our solutions stack up and identify industry trends we may have been missing.

What you'll need:

  • Merchant Empathy. Everything we do is centered around the merchant and you like it that way. You’re enthusiastic about speaking to merchants since you know it’s product gold to gather first-hand feedback and insights.
  • Persuasive Communicator. You can translate technical jargon and customer feedback into persuasive copy and tailored messaging for a variety of internal and external use cases.
  • Process Driven. You think repeatable processes are the tracks to the train. Ensuring a seamless, on-time delivery is equally important as the message itself and you have a standard you hold yourself accountable to.
  • Problem Solver. You believe that the best products solve real problems. Part Sherlock Holmes, part Dr. Phil, you are on a mission to uncover the merchants' challenges and transform those into opportunities to reinforce ShipMonk’s products.
  • Collaborator. Take a pencil, draw a venn diagram, and fill in the portion that overlaps. That portion is you and the environment you thrive in. You’re able to identify where teams overlap and produce impactful go-to-market tactics. But not just that - you can also quickly understand and communicate new business concepts to our teams so they’re better able to execute their jobs.
  • Bonus Points: Prior professional experience in the areas of ecommerce, fulfillment, and logistics.
    • Prior experience with Salesforce, SQL (beneficial, not required), marketing automation, analytics, and project management platforms.
