About the Role
The Enterprise Account Executive is a critical individual contributor role responsible for driving new business opportunities and converting those opportunities into long-term ShipMonk clients. As a frontline sales professional, the Enterprise Account Executive is an expert in our services and solutions, with a strong focus on prospecting, relationship-building, consultative selling, and closing deals. This role is perfect for self-starters who thrive in a fast-paced sales environment and are eager to help eCommerce brands scale through 3PL fulfillment.
What You'll Do
- Product Knowledge Expert
- Understand the features and benefits of ShipMonk’s services and present them in a compelling way that meets the needs of prospective clients.
- Consultative Selling
- Deliver engaging, solution-oriented presentations tailored to client pain points. Negotiate service agreements and close new business opportunities with professionalism and urgency.
- Pipeline Development
- Generate and qualify leads through proactive outreach and networking. Build a robust pipeline of prospective clients aligned with ShipMonk’s ideal customer profile.
- Relationship Builder
- Establish and grow relationships with prospects, representing ShipMonk’s values and “GSD” mindset throughout the sales process.
- Problem Solver
- Identify client challenges and creatively position ShipMonk’s offerings to meet their needs. Think critically and act decisively to move deals forward.
What You'll Need
- 2+ years of sales, business development, or account executive experience in a fast-paced environment
- A proven track record of developing leads and closing new business
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High proficiency in navigating CRMs (Salesforce preferred) and sales engagement tools
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to think analytically, negotiate service agreements, and adapt to a dynamic environment
- A collaborative team player with a strong sense of business acumen
- Passionate, energetic, and driven to exceed goals
- Willingness to be onsite up to 5 days per week at a ShipMonk fulfillment center
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to meet with clients in person. Travel may include conducting property tours, hosting client meetings, attending site visits, or supporting other in-person engagements as needed
